We would like to keep reminding you to extra cautious with any suspect contacts via telephone, e-mail, SMS or claims to be Shinhan Bank (Cambodia) or in short SBC employee.
These e-mail or SMS may contain a link that transfer you to another fake website, usually contain wrong spelling or grammatically error possibly phishing your information.
These are some common phishing scam trick that scammers may use:
• Asking for your 4-digit PIN code, username and password in order to update your personal information or your bank account;
• Got a message saying your account will be blocked from an unofficial phone number or e-mail;
• Threaten to close your bank account if you don’t response or click on provided link;
• Fake websites, suspicious emails, Social Media and chats claiming you WIN a prize and asked you to give your information in order to claim it;
To keep your account safe from scammers, please read our instruction as below:
• Do not share your 4-digit PIN code, password, temporary auto generated M-OTP code via SMS to another person, including those who claims to be an SBC employee;
• Do not share your registered phone number with SBC account or SOL App to public;
• Do not write down your PIN code or password on a paper or an unsecured source;
• Regularly change 4-digit PIN and SOL App password;
